You never forget how to ride a bike?!

I am down 15-pounds as of this morning…WHOO HOO!! I decided today was as good a day as any to begin exercising. My son’s school is one mile away so I was going to walk and get him. However, our girls got new bikes last week and my oldest decided it would be fun to ride the bikes to get him.

I have not been on a bike in 21-years. They say you never forget how to ride a bike. Well I’m about 130-pounds heavier than when I was 14. I was a little wobbly at first and I was scared to lean-to turn…haha! I hit a curb and I also fell into a fence. Oh my goodness I wish I had video because I know it had to be hilarious to see and every time I think about it I laugh so hard.

I did it though. I rode two miles today and I plan to get back out there tomorrow. Tonight I made pizza with whole wheat crust and I got our chicken strips made for the week.

My six-year old son doesn’t like anything anymore and hardly eats much but fruit, smoothies, and peanut butter with fruit spread. It drives me crazy because I feel terrible he doesn’t like anything. If you have any ideas or tips I’m open.

Don’t be afraid to get back on the bike and better yourself. You may get a few bruises, but it’ll be followed by lots of laughter and the joy of knowing you are bettering yourself.
